The Annual Fund is More than Halfway to Our Goal! Help us Cross the Finish Line!
In March 2018 we launched our first-ever Annual Fund Campaign.
The Annual Fund's primary goal is to raise $26,000 to fund a PlayWorks recess coach every day of the school week!
We are so thrilled that individual donations and the success of our Silent Auction and Spring Concert has brought us 65% of the way to our goal! Our larger goal remains creating a steady source of funds that can help Adaire continue to thrive year after year. Please consider making a donation to the Annual Fund today--no donation is too small!

Check out the awesome video slideshow we made featuring some of the highlights from this past year--special events and programming that FoA and our community worked with Principal Jenkins to bring to Adaire in 2017-2018. Vetri Cooking Lab, Mock Trial with Justice Rendell and the Rendell Center, Read Across America Day, Comcast Cares Day, Bike to School Day, the Spring Concert and performances by Rock School of Dance, Rock to the Future, Weathervane Music, American Trappist, Career Day, Field Day with our PlayWorks coach and so much more! This is just a glimpse of what we were able to bring to Adaire this past year and we have so many of these great partners returning (and new ones coming!) next year. Please consider a gift to help FoA make sure Adaire continues to thrive in 2018-2019 and beyond!

"After learning about all the great things going on at Adaire at last June's end of year meet and greet with Principal Jenkins, I wanted to figure out how I could contribute to the great things happening in the school. I reached out to Principal Jenkins, we discussed my interests and experience, and she connected me with 7th grade teachers Mr. McGeehan and Dr. Long. The teachers identified a small group of students who could use a bit more attention and reading practice and I meet with them once weekly to practice reading. The teachers provided some resources to use to find appropriate readings for the tutoring sessions. The students and teachers have been great and they deserve more time than I can give. Adaire is welcoming to volunteers with all backgrounds. The first step toward making positive impact at Adaire is connecting and finding where your time and talent can be put to use for our school."
“So many parents are scared of their local school. You hear so much negativity about what’s going on. But once you step inside, that negativity is gone. The teachers don’t have it, the kids don’t have it. What’s happening inside this school is amazing.”
